Although our office is new, our experience and commitment to providing the utmost in family eye care are not. Before moving to East Tennessee to be closer to family, Drs. Shane & Michelle were part of the Harman Eye Center in Lynchburg, VA for nearly 11 years. Harman Eye Center is one of the finest ophthalmology clinics in Virginia.

Dr. Shane received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and his Doctor of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis in June of 1995.

Dr. Michelle received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa and her Doctor of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis in June of 1996.

Shane & Michelle have 3 children: Sean, Canon, & Savannah. Sean and Canon attend Grace Christian Academy and are active at the Smoky Mountain Tennis Academy. Savannah is active in keeping her big brothers in line. They are all members of Grace Baptist Church in Karns.
