Dr. Shane received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and his Doctor of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis in June of 1995.

Dr. Michelle received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa and her Doctor of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis in June of 1996.

Before moving to East Tennessee to be closer to family, Drs. Shane & Michelle were part of the Harman Eye Center in Lynchburg, VA for nearly 11 years. Harman Eye Center is one of the finest ophthalmology clinics in Virginia.

Shane & Michelle have 3 children: Sean, Canon, & Savannah. Sean is home schooled and is a highly ranked junior at the Smoky Mountain Tennis Academy. Canon and Savannah attend Grace Christian Academy. They are all members of Grace Baptist Church in Karns.
